Samsung continues to introduce innovative, cool-looking digital cameras to the market, including the recently announced, waterproof AQ100.
The AQ100, which is available in light blue and red, will work in up to 10 feet of water depth. In addition, Samsung has enhanced the AQ100's low-light performance, making it easier to shoot properly exposed images while shooting underwater.
The AQ100 also measures only 0.78 inches in thickness, which isn't a common feature found in waterproof point and shoot cameras. The AQ100 shoots 720p HD video, offers 12 megapixels of resolution, includes a 5X optical zoom lens (that does not extend beyond the camera body), and features a 2.7-inch LCD screen.
With an MSRP of only $199.99, the AQ100 fits in a very good price point. It looks like one of the strongest sub-$200 cameras introduced so far in 2010.
