You'll find the SD1300 in five different colors -- blue (pictured here), brown, green, pink, and silver -- and in the same slightly curved, rectangular camera body that has been the hallmark of PowerShot beginner-level cameras for the past few years.

With 12.1 megapixels of resolution, a 2.7-inch LCD, a 4X optical zoom lens, and optical IS, the SD1300 is a nice entry-level camera. Beginner PowerShot cameras have a history of being solid performers at a good price, and the SD1300 looks like it will fit in well.
