Canon has announced several new cameras in the past 12 months, both in the point and shoot camera category and in the DSLR category. To help you sort through all of the new options from Canon, I've posted my list of the best new Canon cameras.

The best new Canon cameras range from basic point and shoot cameras, such as the PowerShot A495 in the sub-$200 price range; advanced point and shoot cameras, such as the SX210 IS (pictured here); and strong DSLR models, such as the EOS 7D DSLR.
